Prince of Persia
I recently finished playing Prince of Persia for the ps3 and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I beat the game once, then played through it again to win trophies.

My first time through the game was very different than my second time through. I have to confess, I didn’t understand how to do combos in the battle sequences until the second time around. If you know how to use combos it makes the fight sequences go much faster. I was whacking the guys with my sword for twenty minutes in each battle sequence….not fun. Dieing wasn’t a big concern the first time around, I’d just try stuff and if it didn’t work out I didn’t lose anything. I’d just start back on the last piece of solid ground I was on. I enjoyed the levels, but they did get a bit repetitive. The first time through each level there is corruption everywhere. After you finish the level and purge it of corruption then you have the task of collection light seeds. This was more tedious than fun for me, but It wasn’t bad enough to make me stop playing and enjoying the game. On the first time through I won several trophies. Prince of Persia is really the first ps3 game with trophy support that I’ve played, and I found that I had to win all the trophies to be finished with the game. Two trophies I didn’t pick up the first time had to do with how long it takes to win the game and how many times Elika has to save you during the game. The second time around I was much more careful about dieing, but at the same time I was in a hurry to win. I noticed that the controls weren’t as great when I was trying not to die. I’d try to jump to a wall to run along and instead I would grab on and slide off the cliff to die. This was very frustrating. Luckily I did manage to beat the game and win the trophy. (she can save you 99 times and you still win lol). Anyway I finished the game, won all the trophies and I think I got my money’s worth out of the game. If you decide to give it a try win the trophies and have fun with it!
I’d recommend it to casual gamers, but if you are a hardcore gamer that is picky about graphics, difficulty, and the concept of not dieing then you may want to get something else.
